Etihad Airways CCO Arik De Steps Down

Arik De, Chief Revenue & Commercial Officer (CCO) of UAE-based Etihad Airways, announced his departure from the airline effective October 8, following nearly five years with the company.
Announcing his departure on LinkedIn, De stated that Etihad Airways’ annual revenue had grown from approximately $3 billion to nearly $10 billion during his tenure, while the airline had made significant progress toward sustainable profitability. De also expressed his gratitude to the teams he worked with throughout the airline’s transformation.
While no official explanation has been provided regarding the reason for his departure, De’s profile has been removed from the management section of Etihad Airways’ corporate website. The airline has yet to announce who will succeed him.
